Yes, every watch offered by 5and20to is carefully inspected and authenticated before sale. Where appropriate, we also use independent specialists to support the authentication process.

Are your watches new or pre-owned?
Unless stated otherwise, our watches are pre-owned. Each listing clearly describes the watch’s condition, age and included accessories.

What is included with the watch?
The listing will confirm whether the watch includes its original box, warranty card, papers, manuals, spare links or other accessories. Only the items specifically stated in the listing are included.

How accurately do you describe the condition?
As buyers ourselves, we know how important accurate and transparent descriptions are. That’s why we describe every watch in detail, including any notable signs of wear, and welcome questions. As pre-owned watches may show minor age-related marks, we encourage clients to review all photographs and and are happy to provide additional images or information upon request.

Can I view a watch before buying?
Yes, in-person viewings can be arranged by appointment, subject to availability and appropriate security checks. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time and place. We are also happy to send you as many photos of the watch as you would like to help with your decision.

How can I be sure the watch isn't stolen?
We pride ourselves on the checks we perform to ensure our clients are always 100% satisfied. We check every watch against the watch register to ensure the watch has never been reported stolen before we list the watch for sale.

Warranty and Returns
Does my watch come with a warranty?
All watches are supplied with a minimum 12-month 5and20to warranty. This will be detailed on the supplied warranty card. (Where the manufacturer’s warranty remains on the watch, the manufacturer’s warranty takes priority. See below.)
The 5and20to warranty covers qualifying mechanical faults but does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear, water damage, cosmetic deterioration or unauthorised repairs.
Is the manufacturer’s warranty included?
Rolex and Tudor provides all of its watches with a 5 year warranty from the date of first registration. Where a watch is purchased that is less than 5 years old, the balance of the warranty is provided.

Are your watches waterproof?
As seals and components can deteriorate with age or use, water resistance cannot be permanently guaranteed on a pre-owned watch. We recommend regular pressure testing before exposing any watch to water.
What is your returns policy?
All purchases may be returned in accordance with your statutory rights and our published returns policy. The watch must be returned in the same condition, unworn and complete with all supplied packaging, documents, tags, links and accessories.
Different rules apply to personalised or specially sourced watches. Please read our full returns policy before ordering.
What should I do if there is a problem with my watch?
Contact us promptly before arranging any repair or returning the watch. Unauthorised work may affect the warranty. We will explain the next steps and, where appropriate, arrange an inspection.
